Mindfulness Stress Management [MSM]
The practice of simple mental exercises derived from Buddhist meditation for Wellbeing, Resilience, Stress, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Pain and Chronic illness.
Jini Lavelle established Oxford Mindfulness, the first programme of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for the public in the U.K., in 1999. This programme was researched by the Oxford University Department of Psychiatry.
Jini lavelle is now practising in Brighton and Hove.
Mindfulness is now widely recognised as a practice for Wellbeing, Resilience and Mental Health, and is recommended by NICE [the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence] and The Mental Health Foundation.
